CUBAN EXPERIENCE 2020
March 29th - April 2nd 2017
For this trip to Cuba, we will explore:
Havana (old and new)- We will visit the old Havana (a walking tour) the squares, churches, cobblestones streets, old dark limestone buildings. Afterwards we’ll visit the new part of the city, capitol building, revolution square, Malecon, Miramar neighbourhood, Vedado neighbourhood, and any other area that we could find interesting.
Matanzas City- We will explore some interesting places in Matanzas like the liberation square, the place of the foundation, the yumury valley, the pharmaceutical museum, the Bellamar cave and the Saturnos cave, etc)
Vinales & Pinar del Rio- Located in the westernmost part of Cuba we find Pinar Del Rio province. It is the land where the most exquisite tobacco is harvested on small plots by the Cuban peasants, usually fellows in straw hats, carrying a machete and a cigar between the teeth. We will visit the Viñales Valley and have the feeling of being transported back in time by seeing the Ox-drawn plows, the incredible limestone formations looming over the green fields, and caves for exploring. This green area, The Viñales Valley, with the most spectacular scenery, was declared world heritage site by UNESCO. Stop in Soroa, also called “the rainbow of Cuba” for its natural beauty. And its prize attraction is the orchid garden that covers three hectares and claiming to be the world´s second-largest orchid garden.

This package is just the Cuban Experience. You are responsible for all your flights and will need to coordinate with me to make sure you arrive at the same time.

This package is for those who want me to do it all. Includes the “I Want To Go! Package” and I will work with you to find the best flight deals from your origin to Cuba. (Price varies based off location and deal. No payment arrangement available for this option. Customer subject to $25 consultant fee.)

This trip to Cuba includes transportation, tour guide throughout the entire trip, and accommodations for all the locations. Lodging consist of renting houses (similar to Airbnb. (We will stay in Havana, Matanzas City, and Trinidad). Most activities are covered. You are responsible for all food and drinks and any additional activity not listed.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND 2020
No trip is ever the same! We will highlight Havana, but this time visit VInales and Pinar del Rio. Varadero was sooo amazing that this time we will spend more time at a resort! And lastly, we will make our way over to the east side of the island to explore Santiago de Cuba for some good ol' Salsa.
U.S. citizens traveling to any destination outside of the United States will be required to present a valid U.S. passport. Passports must be valid for 6 months past the return date. Some countries require a visa for transit or entry. Passengers are responsible to ensure that they have all the proper documents for entry. All names on documents must match the legal name on your photo I.D., and travel document information must match tickets. Please check the State Department website at https://travel.state.gov for further information. Immunizations may also be required. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in denied boarding, denied entry, and/or government imposed fines. If you are a citizen of another country, there may be additional requirements. Check with the nearest consulate or embassy of the destination you are travelling to and find out the entry requirements for non-U.S. citizens.
COMPLIANCE WITH U.S. LAW: U.S. law prohibits U.S. travelers from traveling to Cuba for tourism. U.S. travelers can only go to Cuba for one of 12 authorized reasons, including family visits and people-to-people educational activities. The 12 categories are listed in the Cuban Assets Control Regulations (CACR) at Section 515.560 (a)(1)-(12) and described in more detail in those identified sections of the CACR. It is the U.S. traveler’s sole responsibly to understand and comply with existing restrictions under U.S. law. Each U.S. traveler is required under U.S. law to retain records of their travel to Cuba for five years. The U.S. government could ask you to produce those records.

Amanda Garrison does not operate, control, or otherwise provide the services of the independent travel vendors. Hence, customer agrees that Amanda Garrison acts only as agent for the client in acquiring transportation, hotel accommodations, sightseeing and other privileges, or services for the clients’ benefit, and on the express condition that Amanda Garrison shall not be responsible for any loss, accident, injury, delay, defect, omission or irregularity which may occur or be occasioned, whether by reason of any act, negligence or default of any company or person engaged in or responsible for carrying out any of the arrangements, or otherwise in connection therewith. I understand that there is a risk involved with any travel and any travel activities and/or excursions and I assume all responsibility. I acknowledge that I have the right to purchase my own travel insurance.
I understand that discounted fares and vacation packages typically involves restrictions and changing of any of the travel arrangements results in payment of additional money. I understand all payments are nonrefundable. I understand that I am given the option to make 2 payments if I do not choose the Pay In Full Package options. I understand that the second payment is due by February 5, 2017, 12pm CST. Failure to make final payment without notice will result in forfeit of spot on the trip and no refund. I understand I have the option to purchase my own flight. If help is needed, Amanda Garrison is not responsible for failure to purchase flight suggested for purchase. I am responsible for providing proof for visa.
